I have visited this site 6 times at least- the word awesome is over used but I have no other words to describe their appearance.

The message inscribed on each tablet is a Guide for the World

written in many different languages

One stands alone in the shadow of this American Stonehenge and is at once a believer in the wisdom written in stone.

Elberton, a relatively small town, the so-called granite capitol of the world, is north east Georgia.

The Stones are erected near a pasture.

Nothing is marked to show they are even there, but riding by one can very easily see them and must stop and look.

I have many pictures of this monument, however, they are lost in computer - cyber space, along with my computer.

Please take a moment to look at these structures, and read the articles about them and their message.

	starset: 04/22/2008 7:07 PM rhiwena, to see these massive stones with carved lettering -- gives one the sense of being in ancient times; they are marvelous to see and read; the sun and moon are viewed through rectanges or triangle shapes to tell the phases of the seasons and moon. can't xplain standing in this massive grouping of stones feels. ~~~~~ waves
